Jack Nance at The Roxie (1976) This is a picture Ray Johnson took of myself and San French with the star of Eraserhead. We went up to have our pictures taken with Jack at a special midnight showing of the legendary David Lynch film. We stayed there, flanking him while he shook hands and signed autographs. It was like being these stoned bodyguards. The photo to the right is of Mr. Nance alone at the same event. He was a remarkable actor, his contributions to Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet and Eraserhead, serve well as his memorial. R.I.P. |
